Disneyland with Greg and Jess and the boys

In May we were lucky enough to have Greg, Jessica and their boys here with us for a little over two weeks. We have so much fun with them when they're here. All of the girls and their families always want to be here too, to enjoy the time with them so it's just one great big family reunion the whole time. All eleven of our grandchildren really love their cousins too, and just love to spend time playing (and fighting) whenever we have the chance, they call each other "my friends" it's so cute.
This is a picture of Adam who's 2, on the tram ride into Disneyland.
It's our "favorite ride" because we always go on it twice, hahaha
The picture taking begins even before we enter the park.
Chelsie, Jessica's sister, came down with Jess and spent a few days here too.
Here they are with Dumbo.
Greg and Dylan ready to go too!
Grandpa Gene with Adam in line for the carousel
Some of my favorite boys/men, they make my life so happy!
Greg and his boys, what a lucky daddy!

I know, it's a little blurry, but I had to share it, they're in Buzz Light Year.

In the Monkey cage/train car, on Casey Jr.

Here's a cute video of Jess and Chels with the boys on the teacups.

I am brave enough to venture onto the teacups with the boys, too. My secret, let them do the spinning. It's not that bad when you go with the little ones and they do the spinning!
It was nice to spend the day enjoying the experience with our out of towners . . .

but it was sad that all of our other families haven't renewed their passes this year. It is expensive but so worth it when family comes to town. I think they all regretted not having active Disney passes on this day and are saying they are going to renew as soon as they can.

Isn't She Getting so Beautiful?

We are a very happy family, with lots of time together. This is during one of our trips to Disneyland when Greg came to town with Dylan for his first trip to our Happy Place
Everyone loves Ema!

Ema and Abby. She really fights with her curls, I think they are darling, and tell her to embrace them. The cutest and sweetest girls I know have naturally curly hair

More fun with my people

I didn't take enough pictures, but I'll share some of the ones I did take.
Krista and Rachel, her 5th child. Krista is such a cute mommy with 6 beautiful children and one great husband, so dang lucky/blessed! She's been such a wonderful blessing to the whole Haws family!
More of the gang in line for Indiana Jones. The Utahan's from the Haws/Pixton/Pope families had matching t-shirts. Kyle, Jim, Joseph, Louis, Connie and Dave, I think Denise is in the back too.
Cute Megan, Krista's #4 child, and Jacob Pixton, getting ready to go,
man Jacob was one CRAZY driver!!! We filled up two whole cars.
Here's my baby brother Jim and his recently returned missionary, Kyle. He served in Peru and is now trying really hard to get on with the next stage of life. School!!! It was so good to see him!

We Love Disneyland

I'm just playing around to see what else I can do with Picasa. I'm still not very good at getting the posts to go in as I plan, but blogging is fun. It's crazy how strangers can view your blog, it's kinda creepy. I see why some people decide to to private!

We hadn't realized until we got to Disneyland on this day that Wade was having a NEW experience. Last year he was only just over 1 year old and very confined to his stroller. Mostly he had to stay off the rides because he was so small. On this day, he was enthralled and excited, everything was new and made just for him. It was so cute.

Our Happy Place

Our summer has been so crazy, imagine being too busy to go to Disneyland. Well, the out of state crowds have a lot to do with it too. Jenny and I finally just went, even though she wasn't feeling very well. It was a fun day, not crowded and not awfully hot. I love being a yearly pass holder, but I really need to go more often.

Paytie and I got to ride in the rocket ship together and Kylie and Wes got to go it alone for is first time. Wes told the guy that he could be trusted to be on his best behavior, and he was! Wade went with his mommy and it was probably his first time.

Because it wasn't very crowded, we even finally got in to see Tinkerbell and her friends. This fairy is Irridessa.

And this was BEFORE the mad tea party!

Another Birthday at Disneylannd!

Ella turned 4 on the 19th, so what else could we do except take her to the "Happiest Place on Earth?" Brandi invited me to tag along, and even included Payton, as she and Ella are always asking for "play dates."
Abby, Ella with her birthday button on and Payton, ready for an all girls day at
THE PARK.
Two of my most favorite 4 year olds, who just happen to very good friends. I'm so stinken lucky!

My Beautiful Brandi and her darling little ones, sorry big ones who had to go to school, boo hoo.

Alice in Wonderland's tiny door, in fantasyland, which is always a good photo spot.
To make a Happy Birthday even happier, Ella was surprised by being taken to Chuck E. Cheese's. Now that place is just about Brandi's lest favorite place on earth to go, but I've taken Ella there a few times. She had been saying, "when can Grandma Holly take me to Chuck E. Cheese's, again?" So Kevin and Brandi had her close her eyes as they drove into the parking lot, and she was so excited when she realized that they were going there for dinner. I'll have to get some pictures from them to share.

My best little buddies!

Jenny with her boys, trying to catch up with me and the girls in Dumbo.
Love those Orange Swings in California Disney.
They are one of our most favorite rides. To bad Paytie is still to short.

My beautiful girl and her baby!

Posing Paytie, I sure love that darling girl.

I cherish every minute that I get to spend with my kids and their children. I am so grateful that the little ones love being with me and always want to spend time at our house. Being a mommy is the thing that brought me the most joy, and now as a Grandma, the joy continues. I don't know what I'd do if they ever have to move far away from us.
